The Slipknot tour will support the group’s latest album, “All Hope is Gone,” which is the band’s fourth studio album and their first full length effort since 2004. The 2009 North American Slipknot tour will start off in St Paul, Minnesota on January 23rd and so far the band is slated to visit over 30 cities in the U.S. and Canada. - Slipknot were briefly involved in some controversy with Burger King, after the fast food giant created a fictional band “Coq Roq” to market their chicken fries. However, Burger King ultimately dropped the marketing campaign.
